The final selection of projects generally takes place between May and October. Accepted projects typically receive the following type of support from Canada World Youth:
identification of and communication with an overseas partner
pre-departure training (includes training on fundraising if necessary)
hiring of field staff (depending on the regional office involved)
preparation of project calendar, logistical support (for purchase of plane tickets, medical insurance, etc.)
