| Theme: Information and Communication Technology Having just finished a year in software
engineering, I found that my NetCorps experience was an
opportunity to apply much of my newly gained theoretical
knowledge. Even after taking a variety of computer science
courses, I realized that there are many aspects to IT that
cannot be learned in a classroom. Despite reading various
tutorials to get a good background on the programs needed
for my project, I never learned as much as when I actually
got down to working with the program on my own.
