If you have answered yes to 4 to 6 questions, you are a potential Canada World Youth candidate. You are seeking to live new experiences, but you are not so sure if you are up to the task. Inquisitive and thoughtful, it’s important for you to know exactly what you are getting yourself into. Though you are interested in Canada World Youth, you still have a few concerns to clear up before you sign up. You could contact a Canada World Youth past participant, who would be happy to answer to your questions.

The Accidental Tourist:
3 yes or less

If you have answered yes to less than half of the questions, you are probably taking time to consider the commitment and challenges Canada World Youth programs demand. You are at a crossroads in your life and ready to try something new, but you are reluctant to dive into the great unknown. You are adventurous, but six months may seem like a big commitment. Even if you answered no to some of the questions, you're still welcome to apply. You may also want to wait until next year to apply or you could check out a few other programs that are perhaps more geared to your needs: Katimavik (www.katimavik.org) or Chantier Jeunesse (www.cj.qc.ca).
